The book launch of two new major publications edited by Lorraine Byrne Bodley MRIA and Julian Horton, Schubert’s Late Music: History, Theory, Style (Cambridge University Press, 2016) and Rethinking Schubert (Oxford University Press), takes place in the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street, on Thursday 24 November 2016, 6.30pm. The books will be launched by Professor Robert Hatten (Marlene & Morton Meyerson Professor of Music, The University of Texas at Austin and President of the Society for Music Theory) with a response by Professor Susan Yoeuns (J. W. Van Gorkom Professor of Music, University of Notre Dame) to whom one of the books is dedicated.
