The IAPH’s first training event will be a workshop designed for those who want to improve their performance on broadcast media. It will also benefit contributors to panel discussions, and those who speak at public events and conferences. Skills professionals will advise on how to relay research in a clear and succinct way. The practicalities of preparation, from liaising with producers to considering your audience, as well as dealing with nerves, will also be addressed. Media personnel and historians will discuss what makes a good guest, sharing their own experiences and answering questions.Historians and the Media - Workshop
