Dr Orla Flynn, President of Atlantic Technological University said: ‘With approximately 25,000 students and over 2,500 staff in nine campuses throughout the Northern and Western Region, Atlantic Technological University has an important portfolio of humanities programmes across the emerging Faculty of Education, Design & Humanities. We are delighted to join the Irish Humanities Alliance and anticipate working together with member institutions in the years to come in promoting teaching, research and scholarship in the arts and humanities across the island of Ireland.’
The IHA welcomes our ATU colleagues and our members look forward to working with them over the coming years as we continue to champion humanities research and scholarship across the island of Ireland . The IHA has an exciting programme of public events, doctoral training sessions and outreach activities which will be further strengthened by the inclusion of our ATU colleagues.
