The Royal Irish Academy will host a literary event on biography, life-writing and the writing life from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries on Tuesday 15th April 2014 (3-5pm).
Sponsored by the UCD College of Arts and Celtic Studies, 'Writing Lives' will feature talks by leading scholars and biographers, including Andrew Hadfield, biographer of the controversial poet Edmund Spenser, Ramona Wray, the leading scholar of women's life-writing in the seventeenth century, and Fionnuala Dillane, author of a major study of George Eliot's journalism, and winner of the 2014 Colby Prize.
A question-and-answer session will follow the talks. All are welcome!
